The IN House ...is
home to the Paisley Palace (boutique and giftware).
Paisley is a droplet-shaped motif similar to the T'ai Chi symbol and the Indian bodhi tree leaf. Originating in India,
the design spread to Scotland when British Soldiers brought home
cashmere shawls. The town of Paisley Scotland adapted the design in
their woollen, woven shawls and now the patterns have become known as
Paisley. The distinct Paisley shape has been modified by time and
culture into it's various forms and textures found today.
In June's Boutique you will find many unique styles
of clothing with the Paisley pattern and many gift ware items of
Paisley. Also accessories, scarves, some linens, tableware etc.
